SHF guide welcomed us at Beijing airport after that, we had a rest to recover from jetlag and designed our own itinerary to explore this city by getting tips or adviced from the guide before Beijing and Xian 5-Day Sightseeing Tour.
We began our Beijing tour
. We visited three World No.1 attractions: the world largest city square--Tiananmen Square;the No.1 permanent residence of the emperors among the world's Top 5 as well as the world's largest, most complete wooden structure of the ancient buildings--the Forbidden City; the world largest architectural complex for worshipping Heaven-- the Temple of Heaven. we also visited an important attraction to --Summer Palace.We were taken to a famous restaurant called Quanjude to have Peking duck for dinner. And in the evening we went to Liyuan Theatre to enjoy the Quintessence of Chinese culture --Peking Opera.
We visited the Tian’anmen Square, the largest city square in the world, representing symbol of China's national pride. Headd to the Forbidden City, popularly known as the Imperial Palace, was the permanent residence of the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Then we visited Temple of Heaven, the largest architectural group for worshiping heaven and prayed for good harvests in the world, also a masterpiece of the Ming and Qing architectural art and a precious example of China's ancient architecture. Later we visited the biggest Royal Garden in China--Summer Palace, which is well known for its large and priceless collection of cultural artifacts. After that, transferred to hotel and have a good rest.
Breakfast in hotel. Private transfer to airport for our flight to Xian. Upon our arrival, local English-speaking tour guide will pick us up. After warm greetings, began our exploration in Xian
- one of the birthplaces of the ancient Chinese civilization in the Yellow River Basin area as well as the eastern terminal of the Silk Road. Firstly set off to Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Later headed to Small Wild Goose Pagoda, part of Xi’an Museum. In the evening, we had some leisure time along the famous Muslim Street, a fantastic place to wonder. After covering all the sites hereinbefore, we transferred to check in a local hotel and have a good rest.
We paid a visit to Ancient City Wall, the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. In the afternoon, we visited the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. In the evening, enjoyed Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show, a wonderful performance of the ancient music and dance.
The last day we toured the Forest of Stone Steles Museum, with 900 years of history, it holds a large collection of the earliest stone steles of different periods, from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. After lunch, we went to airport to catch our flight to Shanghai.
