| Today's Activities | A local guide will meet you in your hotel at about 08:00, today you will be driven out of the city and transfer to Simatai Great Wall (3 hours' driving) , which lies in the Gubeikou Town northeast of Miyun County about 120 kilometers from Beijing. Celebrated for its steepness, queerness and intactness, Simatai was acknowledged by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage in 1987. It is the only part of the Great Walls that still has the original appearance of the Ming Dynasty. The tour guide will escort you up the Wall and witness in person the magnificence and glory of this man-made masterpiece. Lunch is served at a restaurant nearby the Great Wall. In late afternoon, transfer back to city center and drop off at your Hotel. |
