After breakfast, day tour begins from the visit to the Yuantong Temple, followed by the Stone Forest. Then transfer to Dali by flight. The local guide will meet you at the airport and accompany you to check in the hotel.

-Yuantong Temple: The Yuantong Temple, a Buddhist temple with a history of over 1,200 years, is the largest of its kind in Kunming. As recorded in the inscription on the tablet 'Notes on Building the Yuantong Temple' erected in the 7th year of he Yanyou Period of the Yuan dynasty(1318), the Meng family of the Nanzhao Kingdom in the Tang dynasty built 'the Butouluo Temple' at this place.
-Stone Forest:If you have visited Kunming without seeing the stone forest, you have wasted your time ' warns a local saying, expressing the deep love of the local people toward this natural wonder. The quintessential karst landscape leaves every tourist lost in wonder.

Continue to discover Dali’s beauty. Today you will visit the Erhai Lake and the Three Pagodas. You also have the chance to stroll around Dali Old Town. For rest of the day you are free to plan your time in Dali.

-Erhai Lake: It measures 40 kilometers north to south, and 7 to 8 kilometers east to west on average. The vast blue lake is filled with crystal-clear waters and dotted with numerous white sails. When the wind rises, waves are whipped up breaking upon the shores. At night, the silvery moon sparkles on the rippling lake.
-Three Pagodas: Facing Erhai Lake, this Three Pagodas has a history of over 1,800 years. Now it is regarded as a symbol of the history of Dali City. It witnessed the development of Buddhism in the area
-Dali Old Town: Firstly built in the early Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the tranquil Old Town is located at the foot of the Mt. Cangshan. You will find the unique dwelling houses of the Bai Minority

Morning transfer to Lijiang. About 3 hours lated you will arrive at the picturesque. Upon arrival, enjoy you lunch and then transfer to check in the hotel. Then have a short rest. In late afternoon, visit the Lijiang Ancient City.

-The Ancient City: The ancient city of Lijiang is located at the foot of the snow-capped Yulong Mountains. The ancient city is formed of three separate ancient towns, namely, Baisha, Shuhe, and Dayan. It is called the "soul of Lijiang"

After breakfast local guide will accompany you to visit the Baisha Village. If you are interested, you may also visit a local Naxi Family. In the evening appreciate Naxi Ancient Music show.

-Ancient Naxi Music: called the Dongjing (Cave Sutra) music of Lijiang, is a combination of the quintessence of the ancient Naxi music with the Confucian and Daoist musical traditions of the Han people. It is considered a "living fossil of the ancient music of China".
-The Mural in Baisha Village: Some 16 kilometers north of Lijiang City locates the Baisha Village. Many buildings there were built in Ming and Qing Dynasties, with a history of more than 300 years. That period was a era of ecomomic development in Lijiang. Many people from other places came to Lijiang, which resulted the multinational culture. Many murals were painted in some houses in Baisha Village. Nowadays they have been well preserved as cultural relics.

Transfer to Shangri-La by private vehicle. Upon arrival, pay a visit to the Tiger Leaping Gorge and the Stone Drum Town. Then check in the hotel and have a good rest or expolre the town by yourself.

-The Tiger Leaping Gorge: Famous in the world for its majesty and grotesquery, the Tiger Leaping Gorge is a ravine of 20 meters long which is formed by the corroding of the Jinsha River here. The altitude at the valley bottom is 1,800 meters, while the Jade Dragon Snow Mountains and the Haba Snow Mountains are 5,596 meters and 5,396 meters above sea level
-Stone Drum Town: This small town is located at the base of moutain flanking the First Bay of Yangtze River. There is a white marble carved monument in the shape of a drum, hence the name. Although small, this town assembles several ethnic minorities. Stroll in the town you may experience the diverse but harmonious folk custom.

After breakfast transfer to visit the Bitai Lake-'the Pearl on the Plateau'. You have enough time to explore this lake. Then back to Shangri-La and visit the Songzanlin Monastery. If you are interested you may visit a local Tibetan family.

-Bitai Lake: The Lake at an elevation of 3539 meters is 25 km. away from Zhongdian.
For not being pullulated, the fishery resources in the lake are persevered very well.
-Songzanlin Monastery: It is located at the foot of the Foping Mountains, 5km north of Zhongdian and occupies an area of 500mu (about 33·3hectares). The monastery is the largest Tibetan Buddhist Temple in Yunnan Province

Take the flight back to Kunming. Upon arrival check in the hotel. For the rest of the day, you are free to plan your activities. You may visit the Golden Temple and the local Flowers & Birds Market.
