In the early morning, our guide will pick you up in your hotel and then lead you to a nearby park to see how local Shanghai citizens, especially senior citizens, do morning exercises and Taiji.
Then transfer to Shi Zi Fang, an old lane used to be covered with factory workshops and warehouses. It was rebuilt in 1998 and has changed to a modern art centre with intense Chinese flavor in Shanghai. This place has now attracted many foreign artists basing their art studio or shops here.
After that, the guide will escort you walking through Huaihai Road and the street situated with Shikemen construction style buildings. Shikumen is a construction style combining both Chinese style and the foreign style. Then you will have a rest to enjoy the lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit Xin Tian Di, which is a state-of-the-art warren of upscale shops, bars and restaurants based on the theme of "where old meets new". The buildings here are also in Shikumen style.
After day trip, you will be driven back to your Shanghai hotel.
