In the morning, our local guide will pick you at your hotel to nearby park or square, such as Heping Park, Huangpu Park and Luxun Park(name after a famous writer in China)or People Square to see how local Shanghai citizens, especially senior citizens, do morning exercises like Taiji, Qigong or Fan dance. We will select the nearest one according to the hotel you live. Our next stop is the “Old Shanghai Tea House” near the City God Temple. City God Temple, which situated in the quite flourish part of Shagnhai, is known as an important Taoist temple in Shanghai. So you can also see those old buildings nearby. As for the tea this house, it is a specialized tea house to exhibit the local customs of Shanghai as well as enjoy various Chinese teas. With its intense Shanghai flavor, it can be called as the combination of museum and tea house. Now, the members of club of the tea house have surpassed 6000 that come from all over the world. The last stop for this day’s tour is Shidun Film and TV Base. As an abstract of Shanghai, the base embodies the past one century history of Shanghai. Some well known Chinese films and TV series which are set in the 1930-1940 of Shanghai were filmed here. As long as you walk into this base, the quaint architectures, posters, movie props and costumes will appear in front of your eyes. What is more, you will have the chance to try some of the props or costumes yourself, which should be a fantastic experience in memory for a life time.
