Training for volunteer guides
Time : 2009-01-08
Volunteer guides at the Expo Exhibition Center have brushed up on their presentation skills so they can give lively and informative talks.
They attended a lecture late last week to improve their skills in introducing exhibits. The Center's displays cover World Expo history, China's participation in Expos over the years and preparations for World Expo 2010 in Shanghai.
About 700 people have worked as guides at the center since it opened in May. More than 6,000 people visited over the three-day New Year's holiday.
