Shanghai should consider World Expo 2010 as the city's responsibility and spare no efforts to make it a dazzling success, said Chen Jinhua, former deputy chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. The CPPCC is the top advisory body to China's legislature.

Chen, during a visit to the Expo Organizer, also said yesterday that the Chinese people must not be disappointed by the six-month event, Chen said during his visit to the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination.
Chen received an Expo progress report from Zhou Hanmin, deputy director general of the Expo Bureau. Zhou is also the deputy chairman of the CPPCC. Chen visited the master plan exhibiton hall in the Expo Mansion and viewed the Expo site.
