Nauru prepares for Expo 2010

The Republic of Nauru will take an exhibit area in the 8,100-square-meter joint pavilion for Pacific Oceania countries at World Expo 2010 after confirming its participation yesterday.
All 16 countries in Oceania have confirmed they will participate at Expo 2010.
The smallest independent republic in the world has entitled the South Pacific Tourism Organization (SPTO) to organize and coordinate its participation together with 12 other countries and two international organizations from Oceania.
SPTO signed a participation contract with the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination in June 2008.
The joint pavilion will showcase the beauty of the Pacific Ocean countries, their unique culture and a sustainable lifestyle. Its theme is "Pacific Ocean - Spring of Inspiration."
