Today's Activities

Your first destination is Shanghai Museum, where you can take a good taste of the profound ancient Chinese art and cultural heritages. This museum is especially famous for its treasures of bronzes, ceramics, paintings and calligraphy. Head to Yuyuan Garden, seeing this famous largest Shanghai ancient gardens of Ming and Qing architectural styles with your own eyes. Besides, you can have some free time to leisurely stroll in the Yuyuan Market which is considered to be shopper's heaven and all the small shops is constructed in historic style. You'll find yourself in an ancient China's market and you can bargain with the host and get the featured Shanghai tourist souvenir with a good price. Later head to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, 468 meters (1,536 feet) high, is the world's third tallest and Asian highest TV and radio tower, which can give you an amazing bird view of Shanghai and Huangpu River.

Day 3

Place & Transport Shanghai→Suzhou
Today's Activities Morning transfer from Shanghai Suzhou, and then your Suzhou tour starts. Cruise on the Grand Canal, which ranks alongside the Great Wall of China as the country's greatest engineering achievement and it is the longest man-made waterway in world. Then visit the No.1 Silk Factory. In the factory you can see how the silk is produced from the silk worm to the final woven cloth. Of course, you could not miss the Humble Administrator's Garden, the largest one of all classical gardens in Suzhou, with well-spaced buildings, the garden landscape and water space are simple, extensive and natural, possessing the traditional appearances of the Ming Dynasty. Then enjoy a Rickshaw Ride through the old streets & Hutongs in Suzhou, you will see local people's life.

Day 4

Today's Activities Transfer from Suzhou to Shanghai to take the flight to Yichang. Embark on cruise ship and depart Yichang at 00:00 at deep night.

(08:30-10:30am) Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam Site, boasts of its unique natural beauty, occupying an area along the Yangtze River from Yichang to the ancient city of Baidi City. (08:00-12:30pm) Shore excursion to Shennong Stream, an indeed attractive scenic spot with its crystal unpolluted water and beautiful sights along it. The 60-kilometer flows north to south through deep gorges and finally merges with the Yangtze at the mouth of the Wu Gorge.

Day 7

Today's Activities (08:30-10:30pm) Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City. According to Chinese legend , Fengdu is the place where the devils live. People say that spirits go to heaven, and evil goes to Fengdu. Walking in Fengdu, you may see deserted streets with empty shops and banks, which will make you feel eerie.

Day 8

Place & Transport Yangtze→Chongqing→Xian
Today's Activities

Disembark at Chongqing at 9:00am and then pay a visit to Goose Neck Park. As it lies in the highest place of the Yuzhong Peninsula, with the grand, steep, risky and elegant characteristic features, this is a pretty good place for you to admire a view of the city and the Yangtze River. The park is famous for its flower show, night view and relaxing tea drinking, especially chrysanthemum show in the golden autumn. Later tour the Chongqing Zoo, you may have a close sightseeing of the lovely pandas, as well as the south China tigers, golden hair monkeys and some other national protected animals.Then transfer to take the flight to Xian.

Day 9

Today's Activities After breakfast begins your exploration to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, the world eighth wonder and these altogether 7,000 life-size pottery soldiers, horses, chariots and weapon guard the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang in silence during the 2000 years history. Later transfer to the landmark of Xian-Big Goose Pagoda,a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists, rated as a National Key Cultural Relic Preserve as well as an AAAA Tourist Attraction. In the afternoon, visit the Forest of Stone Steles Museum, with 900 years of history, it holds a large collection of the earliest stone steles of different periods, from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. In the evening, you are guided to enjoy the Evening Show at Tang Yuegong, a wonderful performance of the ancient music and dance, is a must when you visit Xian-which was the imperial capital during 13 dynastic periods.

Head to the Forbidden City, popularly known as the Imperial Palace, was the permanent residence of the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Then you’ll visit Temple of Heaven, the largest architectural group for worshiping heaven and prayed for good harvests in the world, also a masterpiece of the Ming and Qing architectural art and a precious example of China's ancient architecture.

Morning tour the Great Wall at Mutianyu, surrounded by wonderful landscape and less crowded. You could take Mutianyu cable car (round trip) to a good section where you may walk along the wall. Please wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather. Next head to the Changling tomb, the largest one in scale and earliest one in construction time with best preserved ground buildings among all the Ming Tombs. Dinner served with Beijing Roasted Duck at the famous Quanjude Restaurant, the most delicious specialty in Beijing that you could not miss.

Today, you will visit an important attraction to - Summer Palace, which is well known for its large and priceless collection of cultural artifacts and counted as the biggest Royal Garden in China. After that, we will have an interesting Hutong Tours. Hutong is an important part of Beijing Culture, for it's not only a place where old Beijing residents live, but it also witness the vicissitude of the city. Taste Chinese Dumplings (Jiaozi) for lunch.  Also Lama Temple (Yonghe Lamasery) is also on today's visiting list. This is the only lamasery of Tibetan Buddhism in Beijing.
