Ship Timetables: in the daytimes ships are only for chartering thus the sailing time is decided by travlers. The cruise ships are also available in the evening: start at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Train Timetables: Shanghai South Raiway Station-Jiashan Railway Station, starts at 8:40 a.m. and arrives at 9:50 a.m.; starts at 3:50 p.m. and arrives at 5:10 p.m.; starts at 8:05 p.m. and arrives at 9:25 p.m.; Shanghai Raiway Station-Jiashan Railway Station, NO.681 starts at 7:49 a.m. and arrives at 9:25 a.m.; NO.123 starts at 9:21 a.m. and arrives at 10:17 a.m.
From Shanghai: On Saturdays and Sundays, at Hongkou Football Field and Shanghai Stadium, direct buses are offered to start at 9 a.m. with 85 yuan/ per person(return at 4 p.m. from Xitang) involving a round-trip ticket and admissions to the sightseeing spot. While in during weekdays, the Northern Long-distance Bus Station provides direct buses to Xitang as well, which starts at 7:50 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
From Hangzhou: at East Bus Station, Express Passenger Buses are equipped to Jiashan at an interval of 40 minutes and it will take one and half hours to the destination(ticket price: 27 yuan). Then shift form Jiashan to Xitang by midbus with an interval of 5 minutes for 3.5 yuan.
Best Visiting Time
The best visiting seasons of Xitang are Spring and Autumn , the climates of which are quite pleasant. While the beat visiting month is April as the main representative of Xitang-azalea has reached its blossom period at that time. The average temperature of Spring and Autumn is 27 centidegree, neither too cold nor too hot foe travelling. Although in Summer, the temperature is a little bit hot, travelers can be compansated by enjoying the local specialty-"June Crab".
