Zhouzhuang Village One Day Tour

Meet tour guide at the hotel and transfer to China's top water township - Zhouzhuang. With lakes on four sides, the 900 year-old town itself also abounds in interlaced rivers and lakes, the whole traffic was once mainly by means of boats. With many houses built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there are about 100 houses with courtyards, and 60 of them have arch gateways made by carved bricks.
On arrival, visit the historical old town center. After that, make a tour round the rivers and see the beautiful local scenery. Visit the Hall of Shen’s Residence, which covers 170 square meters and boasts traditional Chinese characteristics. Milou Tower, once called the De's Tavern, it is famous for being a rallying place of the literators in old times. Numerous poets, songs and stories about Milou Tower are wide spread and make it more charming. As well the Chengxu Taoist Temple, in which the halls and pavilions are really elaborate works and masterpieces of Taoist architecture.
