Zhujiajiao Great Qing Post Office

Founded during the Qing Emperor Tongzhi's reign (1903), Great Qing Post Office was the earliest postal service organization in Zhujiajiao, and  one of the 13 major post offices in Shanghai. Now the former Great Qing Post Office is the only historical post office site remaining in East China.
The Office still maintains its original standard pattern after restoration with the improved refreshing appearance. The restoration project adopted modern concepts to activate history in order to better represent the century-old endurance the ancient post office has expericenced.
Having gone through the stages of a private post office, a foreign post office, a telegraph office and a customs post office, Great Qing Post Office is definitely an epitome of China's post office in modern history.
